Getting lucky in life doesn’t happen to everyone, but apparently it has happened to me. I love technology and I love words. Combining the two into a life-long career is the icing on the cake.
Back in grade school I became addicted to technology. I started programming in Basic in the 6th grade on my Apple IIe and have continued working in the tech industry ever since. Working as a contract technical writer and XML developer, I am continually exposed to new technologies, gadgets, cellular technology, operating systems, radios, GPS developments, personal security devices, and just about everything in between. I’ve always been intrigued by the way that the technology invented yesterday, drives the inventions of today. I’m enamored with exploring how the implementation of technology can save time and make daily living easier. Of course, it can also backfire.
I have written 12 books, published by various publishing houses, on Internet related technology and software. Through my contract writing, I am exposed to new inventions from HP, Intel, AMD, Novell, and Oracle on a regular basis. I have worked with companies across the nation, in all industries, including advertising and marketing companies, newspapers, law enforcement agencies, oil and gas corporations, and including a selection of B2B and B2C retail and service oriented SMBs.
I am currently taking both short and long term contract consulting assignments. If your business needs help, I would love to discuss how my talents, enthusiasm and professionalism can benefit you.
